Christmas Time in the Gold Camp.

It is that time of year again where lights and joy are everywhere in the district. The headframes are lit up and beautiful, the towns are hosting many events for the Season. Victor had their parade on December 10th this year, with lots of colorful lights and good memories were made. After the parade, many people congregated at the Victor Elks Lodge for cookies, Santa, and fellowship. The 11th Cripple Creek had their parade with many amazing entries. A craft fair was held at the Cripple Creek Park and Rec center with lots of Vendors.

On the 18th of December Victor’s Christmas on Ice will be held at the Bryan Hayes Rink from 5-9. There will be skating and sip with Santa, and a toy drive for the Toys for Tots. Hot Cocoa and Coffee will be there for attendees and skates available for those who want to skate around the Christmas tree.

With all the events happening around it is starting to feel a lot like Christmas even if the snow is not on the ground yet. From my family to yours Merry Christmas and may God Bless you in the New Year.
